Ahh winter, it’s a beautiful time of year, maybe my favorite. It’s quiet, peaceful, serene, the earth slumbers and in theory farmers rest. I’ve heard it said that we read, write poetry and recover from a summer of toil. Well that’s just silly, in addition to the projects Tim highlights here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssjEMe8SsNY we’re repairing tools, sharpening instruments, monitoring pastures, and the animals still need care. We’ve cleaned the shop and hope to get it fully reorganized before spring. Shovels are out and the snowplow blades are all hooked up. We’re planning new projects, and reviewing what’s transpired, if you follow us, none of this should surprise you. That said, it has slowed down enough that I found 30 minutes to write this! So hopefully I’ll see you next week.
